Seeking professional sales hunters (individual contributors) to help take T-ROC to the next level!  Open to anyone residing within the Continental US!

T-ROC solves problems within the retail industry by using a combination of technology, operational support and people (third-party staffing) to provide solutions to our clients.  

We are excited to leverage our VIBA technology and expand into new industries and markets to optimize sales and provide for a fantastic consumer experience!


 The successful candidate is a strong individual contributor and creative thinker who takes a consultative approach in building relationships.  You don’t depend upon support teams to generate your leads; you are able to visualize our technology solutions in new industries and markets.  You have a goal and develop a plan which incorporates multi-modal strategies of deployment.

Job Overview:

The Director of Business Development is a genuine hunter, responsible for business expansion, revenue growth, and overall profitability through strategic planning, growth management, solution selling business development, and market research and analysis practices.

Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve software sales targets (e.g., Target Account Selling) through generation of 20-30 direct customer meetings and workshops (2nd meetings) per month through different sources.  Demonstrate and clearly differentiate the product from the competition focusing on our clear and compelling value proposition.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services
  • Develop and manage sales operating budgets
  • Achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends
  • Oversee and evaluate market research and adjusts sales strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
  • Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
  • Guide preparation of sales activity reports and present to executive management
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote product
  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
  • Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study (additional work experience can substitute for a degree)
  • At least 5-7 years proven selling successes within B2C business models containing technology-based product solutions
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and other CRM tools to
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audience, including product demonstrations
  • Aptitude for utilizing various tools, methods and resources to research and develop strategic target list
  • Superior communication skills, sense of urgency, ability to maintain high energy while managing multiple (and sometimes competing) deliverables
  • Ability for 25% travel increasing to 50% + travel (post-COVID)

Preferred Experience:

  • Foster positive interdepartmental relationships
  • Highly effective Communication skills (Written, Oral, Active Listening & presentation)
  • Strong Forecasting
  • Maintains documentation via CRM systems
  • Sales Fundamentals (Networking, Qualification, Deal Progression \ Negotiating \ Buying Process)
  • Computer savvy (excel, presentations etc.)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced/multi-channel environment
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders and bring sales opportunities to close
  • Must have a collaborative partner approach
